Weapons

This feels like a really silly question, but how do I know what type of melee weapon I'm looking at? Most are pretty obvious, but some are confusing for me. Like polearm and scythe weapons look similar, nikanas and two-handed nikanas, just for a couple of examples. Thanks in advance!

I don't know how to do alt fire on PlayStation. Octavia's rifle has alt fire (charged shot or automatic), but I don't know how to do the charged shot. Any PS players know the controls for this?

I like the Astilla shotgun, but it requires so much mod space. I used a forma once, but it is still far from ready. Is it worth using a potato on?

As you can see, using its incarnon mode STILL isn't worth it. The change made it less bad, and the proposed change would have made it even less bad, but they implemented a change from 500->600 damage per shot rather than 600->700, or, I guess, 500->700. 700 damage per shot still wouldn't make it be better, but it would be something.

An unmodded comparison IS STILL RELEVANT, because in all cases, both modes will have the same mods, and the only mods the Incarnon form benefits more from than the normal mode are crit mods. But because Felarx has Devastating Attrition as a disincentive to use crits and doesn't have another comparable fifth evolution modifier, crits are still not worth it.

I would like to ask you about what weapons or other equipments you would like to see in future to get Prime variant.

Additionally, because recent Prime Warfames were primed with their signature weapons, what are your feelings about those weapons getting prime variants?

I would like to preface this by saying I don’t care about min-max perfection. When I play a game I play it to have fun, not to play COD Warzone…

Continuing on, I had an idea, as I have been playing a lot of castlevania games, to make a build in every game I can, based upon the Belmont family of monster hunters. I am sending this request more towards the members of this community that are in late game, and have a better idea of what weapons and warframe would be good for something like this, but it is not exclusive to them… If you have an idea as to what I am talking about, great, if not, but you still want to help, just ask! Also, I am trying to do this on my switch account, I have an xbox account that has much more, and wanted to transfer that over to switch, however, the availability for that window had closed way before I even got my switch (I would also like to ask if that’s still possible)… so I am starting at ground zero and working my way forward. I have an idea for what mastery level I will need to be at, which is gonna be fun spending the hours to grind that, but the weapons, mods, and warframe? I have no idea…

I was thinking about adding a sorting option for weapons in release order either under 'list' or it's own section. Several people are asking for it (including me) but there is no such list anywhere on the web. However the weapon page is protected and I would either need to get permission to edit or give someone with permission my list. Also don't have much experience with these templates so some help would be needed I think. Need to know if it's gonna end up being added before spending a lot of hours making the list. Thankful for any thoughts :)

Sometimes it can even be a 1 million damage Crit for no reason! isn't that great? yeah! let your bud see that damage counter slid through their monitors all the way to the right!

I've been thinking about whether to mod my Corinth Prime with Viral or Corrosive. I've heard that Viral is good with rapid fire weapons and Corrosive with single shot weapons. But what about shotguns?

Players who got already new prime weapons, what is your opinion about those?

I mean exlusively weapons, because not many youtubers made long videos about them, while Garuda is OP after her buffs.
