Hi everyone, here the best way (from my experience) to speedrun the Gian Point node.
I chose this node because it doesn't have any extra objective, just 90 fighters and 6 crewships to kill.
Since it involves special builds and strategy, i post that mainly because the more the people know this way to do things exists, the easier it will be to form squads.
The most important part of this guide is: Railjack weaponry and abilities gain extra damage from Rhino's Roar. It may be an exploit, it may be patched in the future, nobody knows considering the mess Railjack is at the moment.
I don't know any other way to increase Railjack damage. If there is an other way, it could be better, but i only know this one, so i will try to maximise it.
We then want a way to kill fighters the fastest possible.
I consider Seeker Volley to be the best candidate.
So here's the avionics your Railjack should have:
Seeker Volley (obviously)
Bulkhead
Winged Steel (or Hull Weave, or both, but you don't need that much durability anyway)
Warhead
Forward Artillery
Hyperflux
If you can, you should add:
Conic Nozzle
Ion Burn
Hyperstrike
Battle Forge
Concerning the crew, we obvioulsy want rhino, and everything that can increase his strength.
Frame wise that would be equinox and nidus. I don't know any other frame that can increase strength, if there is another one, this guide would need to be changed.
I chose what we can sustain in the long term, so things like the kitgun arcane and energy conversion are out of the builds i will propose, but you could use them as well.
So we want Rhino max strength, with probably duration.
Equinox 250% strength with some range and the 3 augment, and power donation.
Nidus with max strnegth and duration.
Someone else with power donation.
I assume corrosive projection don't affect spaceships, since their healthbar are red. If this is wrong, the power donation gimmick is probably wrong as well.
The role of each crewman:
Equinox : press 1, press 3, zenurik, go pilot. At first ramsled, go with nidus to watch invaders being killed. Return to pilot. Do that until 3's augment isn't maxed.
Nidus: do nothing till ramsled. Get some stacks on them. Use them to link with rhino.
Rhino: press 3 near pilot (usually equinox). When Equinox is not piloting, you are the pilot. When crewships are near, use artillery to kill them.
The other guy: build flux energy and dome charge whenever you can (they don't use the same ressources so just build when you can). Use Battle forge when needed if your ship has it. If needed, you may as well board crewships.
When piloting:
If there are more than 5-6 fighters, spam 3 for Seeker Volley. Don't forget that crewships can use the retarded heal, so they should still be your priority targets. From my experience, it looks like you have more chance to destroy them by shoting in there flanks, at medium/close range, but i don't really know. At the very least, don't shot in their engines, that decrease the damages for sure.
Also, let the ramsleds board you if nidus need stacks.
That's it, here the builds i propose, you should aim for something like it, or even something better, i haven't formaed all these frames.
Equinox:
(Replace cp with Power donation, you will still be over 250% since random extra will have power donation as well)
Nidus:
Edit : you should actually put Power Donation on nidus as well, since his 2 gives only 25% of his strenght, Power Donation will be more powerfull than extra strength on nidus.
Rhino:
Extra dude:
He need power donation. Frame wise, he could be any cc frame for invaders, but it doesn't really matter.
Edit: if you are going to use energy conversion, extra dude should be hildryn, for easier energy orb creation with invaders.
