Melee

This feels like a really silly question, but how do I know what type of melee weapon I'm looking at? Most are pretty obvious, but some are confusing for me. Like polearm and scythe weapons look similar, nikanas and two-handed nikanas, just for a couple of examples. Thanks in advance!

Since duviri realesed whith it's smooth terrains and exploitable verticality, i've encountered a pretty fun interaction with slam attack (may be patched and i didn't reasearch on how to consistantly perform the bug).

With some Slam attack abuse in circuit i happened multiple times (around 5 times in 2 hours) to perform it and yet not going down to the ground but going up with the speed of a normal slam attack (works with heavy slams too). It never was straigth up into the air always in diagonal slope with sometimes pretty sharp angles (from Z axes on top of us around 45° sometimes, easier for 60-85° angles). Also by jumping or rolling right before landing you happen to keep momentum and Zoop into the void.

I didn't see many people talk about this bug ( no one is appropriate so i wanted to share it here, don't hesitate to try it out. Even though i don't know the setup's for SATUP, i think overguarded enemy's can help for unkown reason and smooth border platform does a lot (Tubes, slope, C shape wall). You can also perform them quite literaly within 0-10° from X and Y axes to -z (down) which is easier)

List of places where i succesfully did it:

Sedna - Hydron : -Cryopod raised up TO Tenno spawn Doorway.

-Cover hall next to cryopod with three ennemy spawn room TO the dual plains stairs Wall before the in front of second spawn.

Duviri - (i dont know maps names) : -Pretty much anywhere you can see a higher smooth edge platform).

Looking for some high attack speed melee weapons, any recommendations? :)

So, after @ImSpecialOk posted My stupid current project: UFO and i said in the comments that "That wouldn't work because bla-bla-bla" i then proceeded to test all my projectile-based weapons just to see any interesting results.

When i thought: "I wanna see how Zenistar works on her nowadays, maybe it regained some cool features it had back then?" and oh boy was i fucking right...

So the deal so far is:

1. Disk can still be navigated normally and to the much farther distances than it was before, the duration is basic 10 seconds without x12 Combo counter (which is a maximum of 120 seconds then).

2. However, after the duration is depleted while you still have disk under control, it won't return, it will continuously fly in pointed direction with no time limits, the only limit there would be your energy, that is consumed rather quickly... and also after some range that it passed, which can be more than 100m by the way.

3. After you manually turn off the ability or at the depletion of your energy, the disk WILL stay where it's been last time you controlled it for some time, although the exact amount of duration it stays for is unknown due to the weapon's timer mechanic being buggy itself and displays incorrectly, following by the ability ending up earlier than the timer says.

4. You can return to the disk from any distance by pressing the Navigator again while disk is still active, you can't move the disk anymore though.

I tested it all both in Simulacrum and on regular and SP missions, works freaking amazing, better use it with basic 10 sec. duration, unless the damage of fires is increased by combo, then yes, you may build up the combo first.

On my Zaw, I have slash as the leading effect with viral behind it and I was under the impression that since it had the highest stat value, it would be prioritized over the other damage types and thus, proc more often than the others.

Well instead, I'm barely getting any procs at all and when I do, they're impact procs not slash. Only my heavy attacks proc slash since they force it.

Soooo someone hit me with melee status chance and slash mods that are actually worth getting. I looked at the list of mods of course but I couldn't deduce which ones I should get.

Alright lads and ladies I need some more help because I am a dipshit mid-high tier player who has no idea of what he's doing.

Every once in a while I see someone barrel into the lobby with a crazy strong ass sword. Like.. a sword capable of taking 1/3 to a quarter chunk of hp off of a juggernaut with no difficulty at all.

So.... Someone hit me with a high dmg Pennant build.

Note: power drift is supposed to be fast deflection

What's the best dps mlee at the moment?

I am just getting back into Warframe and a LOT has changed. But, my main question is: when building a melee weapon to use with Saryn’s abilities, do you want to build it for more crit chance/damage or status chance/damage? Ig my main reason for asking this is bc if Saryn is already dishing out status damage, I would assume that it’d be best to build for crit damage but I don’t really know the correlation. Please lmk!
