Yeah, but before you go into steel path, I'd recommend getting galvanized mods for your primary and secondary weapons. They're obtained by doing arbitration missions and then bought in the syndicate of Hexis

Get yourself Galv mods from Arbitration's wares, at least the multishot ones. Try to play the 6 daily missions for guaranteed Steel Essence, they should go smoother as you should be able to play in full squad in each of them. Try to invest some forma into weapons you find strongest in your arsenal or find new reliable weapons - Zariman incarnons should be the easiest ones to farm up.

Try to get some zaiman weapons and some prime Warframe and weapon too
