Often considered to be kronen prime, because of the above average stats combined with a broken overpowered stance. The stance has some of the highest dps in addition to excessive slash procs. While sword and shields have a stance that has a combo with higher percentages per second, it has very few forced slash procs in comparison.

But most weapon types have a very good weapon (usually the prime one) and a usable stance. You can simply use whichever weapon type you prefer, it will barely make a difference, even after the upcoming melee nerfs.

Stay away from whips and maybe staves though. Scythes and 2h-Nikanas are only good for Heavy Attack builds since their stances are questionable, while their heavy attacks are very strong and force slash procs.

Why stay away from whips? I play lacera, ceti lacera (both on wisp) and jat kissar (on ash) very effectively on endurance sp.

Blade&Whips are great weapons with a good stance. Not the strongest, but the massive range and versatility is great.

Thats because no one uses them.

They don't have any special variant and all existing Whips have horrible stats, Atterax has promising crit/status stats and an extremely high slash percentage (90%), but also one of the lowest base damage values, which, combined with the stances having some of the lowest dps that you cant even hit reliably, just wastes these stats.

They probably overnerfed whips with melee 2.999 because of the long running maiming strike meta using whips almost exclusively. Especially Atterax.

In-game time doesn't mean a thing neither does MR rank lol

Ah yes because the mr 14 who got all his knowledge from brozime videos obviously knows better than the mr 22 that is explaining how to efficiently farm thralls by making the most out of how warframe treats enemy spawns

"MR" and "Time" are very loose concepts considering how you can gain them and how you can bomb rush mr, but saying they are completely meaningless is just plain wrong

I didn't say anything about someone watching brozimes videos someone could AFK in a relay all day everyday spinning around in circles and have 7,000 hours of in-game time, be mr14 and say they know everything just because of the 'hours they played' or someone who's actually played and is mr22 that's what I'm getting at it doesn't have anything to do about knowledge lol
