Thanks. Correct me if I am wrong. It is not great to die and respawn close to the end of the mission.

That way, you won’t have an opportunity to offset the XP lost in respawning. Potentially the XP that would have ranked you up in warframe, weapon etc. in that very mission.

I know ranking up happens during the mission too. But say you were very close to ranking up next (warframe, weapon whatever) and you die and you respawn and the mission ends soon. Then you won’t rank up in that mission at least.

Maybe this slows you down only slightly, but if this happens a lot then... one is just a bad player lol.

Tfw people go to Hydron to level their stuff, and they choose to die instead of letting you revive them, despite the fact that they are there for Affinity to level stuff.

If you can bear 1 hour high level endless mission, you can get many affinity.

I remember playing infested salvage for 1 hour, I forget the name of warframe but the level in mission and after extraction is 3-30.

BTW, the mission is in a squad of 4. More players stick together in a mission, the more affinity you got.

Y'all just taught me something. I mostly play Warframe by myself, but I never knew self reviving damage my Affinity. I see the number, but never understood it. Thanks you guys. I'm a noob only been playing for a Month and a Half. Love the game so far.

Makes sense. But remember, the cost is 10% of XP earned in the mission until that point and not a fixed amount like, say 100XP. So even if the overall amount of XP earned is high, the cost of respawning is high too. So if you are dying a lot to complete a bunch of missions then it will definitely slow you down.

Here's one for free (this info is on the affinity wiki page), certain affinity earned through particular actions will be split amongst all the weapons you are carrying.

Suppose you had less weapons to split the affinity amongst...

And given we're talking about trying to level up MR quickly, perhaps doing something to your loadout might help achieve that.

Just be mindful about carrying only one weapon though, at earlier MRs it may be quicker to use a more powerful weapon to increase the MR of a new weapon passively if the new weapon is too damn slow or hard to use or too weak at the start.

Yeah, a new weapon can be hard and slow to rank up, when trying to MR. But if you good at aiming and shooting you won't notice that big of a difference. You also rewarded more XP for Aiming yourself and not using Aim Assisted.
