The Caustacyst is an Infested Scythe available through clan research. Aside from dealing 
Corrosivo damage, its Charge Attacks create a trail of sludge that damages and staggers enemies who walk into it.

Characteristics
This weapon deals primarily Corrosivo damage.
Advantages:
- Innate
Corrosivo damage is effective against Ferrite Armor and Fossilized Infested. - High Status Chance
- Comes with a polarity.
- stance polarity matches Abanico acechante.
Disadvantages:
- Corrosivo damage is reduced against Proto Shields.
- Low critical hit chance.
Notas
- Innate Corrosivo damage allows the weapon to use elemental combos that would otherwise use toxin or electricity damage. It also makes it an excellent weapon against the Grineer, allowing for Corrosivo and Viral to be used at the same time, as well as additional Calor to attack their health or Eléctrico for extra stunning capabilities. It can also be paired with Radiación for bonus damage against Alloy Armor, pairing with Corrosivo's innate armor-peeling to allow for more general use against Grineer enemies.
- It appears that the Caustacyst may be a pair of infested Kamas dobles, fused together.
- Charge attack is not effected by Alcance o Alcance Prime
- Should be noted that the Caustacyst's charge attack has a much higher crit chance than a regular attack.
- When using the charge attack it emits a flying Arc(resembling an Espada exaltada slash) that does a large amount of damage, this is shortly followed by a corrosive pool that applies a DoT as well as a stun.
